The article isconcerned with how social media security risk in the organization canbe mitigated or curbed to reduce the risk of social media in theworkplace. Wu Hu in this article has outlined the most feared risk inthe organization when they engage in social media. Malware has beendiscussed in length and is experienced inform of cybercrime in thesystem. The author is credible based on the fact that mitigationtechniques have been discussed so that organizations can still usesocial media. One such mitigation is to monitor the site regularly,educating employees on how to use social media and software updates.

The article fits inmy research based on the fact that even if social media is associatedwith negative implication to the organization, technology is makingthe companies to employ social media in marketing. Additionally,after giving the mitigation technique one just need to monitor thesocial media and will have positive impact to the organization. Theonly issue that I can critique in this article is forgery and hackingof the system since it implies that an employee has revealed thelogin details of the organization and thus easily hacked. Privacymust be taken seriously in the organization for the sake of thecompany.

The use of theSmartphone’s used to access the social media lowers theproductivity of the employee and affects the organizationsnegatively. Mathew argues that social networking is an activity thatis taking place in all the organization. The author is credible sinceorganization will use the social media to advertise what they offerto the society and when hiring employees.

The article fits inmy research since social networking is one of the best modern methodsof sharing information. It is fast and reliable if it is used in theright way and in the right place. Mathew has indicated that the riskof using social networking outweigh the potential benefits which Icritique based on the fact that the system administrator just need tomonitor the sites regularly.

The article isconcerned with social networking and how it usually affects thecompanies and the employees. Douglas, Nicole, Michael and Carolinehave show how the use of social networking has increased. The articledoes not propose for the prevention of social networks in theworkplace but proposes how they can work with it and make sure thatthe productivity of the employee does not reduce. The authors of thearticle are credible since they have given the facts about the socialnetworks in the workplace. Gossip, low productivity and harassmentsare among things the employees post in those social networks.

It is obvious thatwhen employees post gossip in the social networks they will revealvital information of the company. Additionally, when the employeesare angered by the supervisors and managers they try to threaten themin the social media. The article fits in my research because whenindividual concentrate a lot in the social network they will reducetheir productivity. Harassments in the company should not beencouraged and thus monitoring should be done to ensure that there isfavorable working environment for the employees.
