Thecomprehensive intervention model is a model that is used to look atthe progress that students can make in their education. One may arguethat the model is used as an analysis tool through which teachers cananalyze the students and their literacy levels. That offers knowledgeon how to handle the students such that they can gain more fromeducation through the close monitoring they receive from the tutors.The model is a systematic design through which literacy can beachieved especially by struggling kindergarten students up to theireighth grade. It is a concept that is related to psychology since itwill involve shaping the children such that they can gain the fullextent of knowledge.

Thecomprehensive intervention model can be tied to the psychologyinvolved in the health sector such as in the development of healthpolicy. That is because the model helps in the formulation of policythrough a building process in which those involved in the policyformulation can assess the policy and its development (UALR, 2015).The health sector needs to come up with comprehensive policies thatneed to pass the test of time. Psychology in its entirety is a bigcontributor to the comprehensive intervention model since it helpsthe teachers understand how to deal with the students in theirdevelopment of literacy levels (Holtgrave, 1997). The model uses afour-tier framework under which there are three aspects of classinstruction, supplemental intervention, and special education. Themodel is appropriate for ensuring that tutors can develop thestudents from an early level, and that can help shape their mindseton education and that can be tied to psychology.
