Despitestruggling with deafness that began in his late 20’s, he managed tobuild quite a reputation as a composer and a pianist, accredited tohis travels to Vienna, where he later came to settle down. Afterbecoming chronically ill and his struggle with deafness, he almostcommitted suicide he stopped performing and was rather withdrawnfrom society. Beethoven’s court battle with his sister-in-law overcustody of her son depilated his finances and mental health. He heldhis sister-in –law in low regard. At death, he was given a herosend-off, though he referred to himself as the tone poet forproducing musical sounds than words.

Leitmotifis used in program music due to its re-occurring nature to representscenes, images or tell a story. Rhythm to any music captures theaudience’s attention, and it is the main element. In the sorcerer’sapprentice, the author Walt Disney induced the art of music in thefunny show. In conclusion, music has changed remarkably due totechnological advancements and Beethoven’s compositions stillcontinue to form a basis of modern music.
