He gives analysis onthe rhetoric questions for the development and evaluation ofcircumstance in the exact setup. John Malcolm brings in thepsychological study of English Academics purpose. The topic ofconcern is brought by the Linguistic studies in English language andthe shift from one place to another. Aframework of the linguistic study of Swale, Discourse Community givesa genre analysis on the social nature argument in differentcommunities and the different speech from various communities. Theconcept of discourse brings in the difficulty of English languagediscussion, and the reader may get confused from the academic debatereferred above. It is important, therefore, to understand thediscourse community concept broadly to give a deeper analysis of thediscussion of Swales. Throughout the study of John, it is importantto note that several definition from the study case of Englishlanguage words varies in real mean, and he further chose to definewords by himself to avoid the misunderstanding of a phrase from onecommunity to another as he conducted the study.

Thestudy further illustrates some characteristic on the concept ofdiscourse community to analyze communities he conducted through thestudy. The primary and complex Malcolm’s features are the genreanalysis whereby he defines the genre as types of phrases that thereader and the writer can understand quickly and meets the rhetoricalsituation of a text function. A good example is a case scenario ofwedding invitation whereby we recognize it and understand thiscontext different from the horoscopes. Therefore, the phrase in awedding invitation is to make an efficient language usage to makepeople aware and attend to the ceremony. It should relate to theattendees’ expectations and ceremony formalities. The genreanalysis in a wedding invitation is to demonstrate generally thatdiscourse communities use different phrases recognizable to thepeople outside a group and this may be termed as universalcommunication. Another case analysis is in the case of memos writtenin organizations may differ to memos written in local school. It ishelpful to recognize the genre textual phrase in different groups ofpeople depending on their outcome and adaptation. Furthermore, on thegenre analysis we get to the professional studies, and our examplewill be the field of Biology. Considering a team of biologists, whereby they are analyzing the effects of industrial pollution on thecell structures in the water body. The research and reporting styleuses genre analysis that is well understood in beyond their discoursecommunity considering other professions and readers, not in line withthe biological concept. That is, understood and comprehended withother people out of this discipline.

Ourprimary case reference for the discussion is about my discoursecommunity change in the health system and mainly on the mental healthclinic. The study case of Community Health System engages individualsand the affected person and the recognition of these individualsunique social linguistics and my intervention in acknowledging thediscourse community speech and bring in a positive change. In theacademic discipline of psychiatrists, is an essential concept in thetherapeutic community where patients participate in the therapeuticenvironment. The research thereby has its pros from the study casewhereby the study report developed an access to the problems ofpatients in the community through interviews. Also, in the process ofservice delivery, there is an integrated speech changes and theacquisition of the social skills from patients who fully recoveredfrom mental illness. More importantly is the issue of integrativetherapy whereby from the academic skills of a psychiatrist I realizedthe several connection disciplines from the community set up. Themost relevant subject is the family role to the patient. Familiesplay a very integral role in ensuring that their relative is welltaken off. Adversely to the pros are the cons whereby it wasdifficult to get an understanding to the patient’s sociallinguistic. The different ethnic groups presented different genre onthe analysis of a mental illness.

Aform of clarity on the concept of Discourse Community has beenappropriated by the instructor and the researcher in adopting asocial view in the writing context (Faigley, 1986). The genre concepton +discourse community presents the appropriation n of socialperspective in the research paper. According to (Faigley, 1986)discourse community correspond to the assumption that operationswithin conventions of the communities in line with the academics andsocial disciplines. Therefore, The English language uses the topic ofconcern to symbolize different general view and social behavior inmaintaining and extending knowledge to several new members.Significantly, the concept of John Swales initiates other new membersand how these particular members refer to their beliefs anddirectives in the language of English.

Fromthe Book of Swales, discourse community is the center of the idea, and it is used in settling notions sufficiently explicit from otherand hence modifying ideas on concept framework of the group. Moreover, the proponent of this idea further gives a pleasant viewand believe in the major concept of Swale recognizing its questionsand answer them according to their analysis. For instance, a set ofproblems in a research concisely on the discourse of communities isdetermined by the objective of the study that include researchdesign, the frequency of communication and the genre analysis andconvention. It is important to clarify procedural purposes understoodin the discourse communities acknowledging the different situationsby setting criteria sufficiently crucial in the controversialcontext.

Converselyto the discourse community list of idea, situations where there is noconventions and conflicting procedures may prevent the formation ofthe big genre. A good example that will support the convention andmajor genre is on the idea of linguistic community speeches thatdiffer on the audience analysis. The community statement therebybrought in the idea of compositional studies and terminologiesmeaning that could create a conflict in meaning. This significantfocus mainly on the written speech rather than the spoken words. Thegenre analysis on the written speech is appropriate in identifyingdiscourse community in consideration of the topic of discussion(Hudson, 1980). Nonetheless, speech community composes of those whoshare the functional rules in determining the appropriate pattern ofutterance (Fishman, 1971). According to Swales, we can the profoundmeaning of speech community from his analysis as the rule of conductand interpreting linguistic statements from different communities. Inaddition to this, written expression is more appropriate for peoplein distant places since they are likely to respond to the writtenspeech than spoken words. Therefore, we should broadly agree on thegeneral goals formally in the documentation of the speech andincorporate other version in the private sectors.
